Technology industry leaders from across Europe gathered last week in Brussels for Orgalim's Spring Convention with the net zero industry transformation and European competitiveness high on the agenda. The biannual meeting brought together more than 60 national and sector association, corporate and associate members to share insights, identify opportunities, and align on our strategic direction at this pivotal time for European industry and policy.

"This Convention made abundantly clear the commitment and the power of Europe's technology industries to provide the technologies needed to unleash the net zero transformation," said Malte Lohan, Orgalim's Director General. "The collective intelligence and insights of our extensive network proved once again invaluable as we seek to overcome the obstacles and step up the pace on the road to a green and resilient future for Europe."

Preceding the Convention itself, the Executive Forum for Advanced Manufacturing convened on Wednesday, to discuss policy priorities for accelerating the uptake of advanced manufacturing technologies and for the upcoming 2024 EU elections. In the afternoon, they took the opportunity to visit the European Commission for meetings with key policymakers.

A hallmark of Orgalim's gatherings, members also enjoyed plenty of time for side meetings, networking, and informal discussions over lunches and dinner in the EU capital at its delightful, summery best.
