Intern Partnership


Orgalim – Europe’s Technology Industries – is looking for an intern to support the service to client work of its Partnership department. The responsibilities cover EU advocacy on policy areas such as energy, digital and internal market legislation. He/she will support the Partnership team, having an opportunity to help Partnership clients in achieving their policy objectives. He/she will report to the Partnership Director, working very closely with one senior team member whilst liaising with the wider team. This is an opportunity to get a hands-on experience in one of the leading industry associations in Europe, on issues that are at the top of the EU’s political agenda, and key to Europe's industrial base. 


Who we are 

Orgalim has a team of 31 people - 12 nationalities - representing the interests of Europe’s technology industries: innovative companies spanning the mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and electronics, ICT and metal technology branches. We are working with policymakers and stakeholders to strengthen our industries’ growth and global leadership, to maximise their contribution to Europe’s economy and society, and to foster a new relationship of trust between businesses and citizens.  


The responsibilities include:

  • Support with the organisation and implementation of monitoring services with a special focus on energy policies

  • Support the implementation of the clients’ advocacy strategy and annual work plan

  • Support the work in Partnership clients’ relevant Working Groups and Task Forces

  • Gather information and produce reports from relevant internal and external meetings and events

  • Support with the communication activities (e.g., organization of events, social media campaigns etc.)​​​​​​​


Your profile

  • University degree

  • Familiar with European politics and/or policies – knowledge of EU energy policy is a plus

  • Understanding of the European Union and its institutions, processes and policies

  • Motivated, eager to learn, with proactive mindset, strong attention to detail and a "can-do" attitude

  • Proficient communicator, both written and oral

  • Excellent level of English; knowledge of other European languages is a plus

  • An effective team player with ability to work within flexible and multidisciplinary structures
