Orgalim, as the operator of this website, takes personal data protection very seriously. We comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation and e-Privacy Directive. You do not have to provide any personal data in order to use most of the website. Orgalim may collect and process the following data: Personal data of website visitors including contact data (e.g. name, address, email) and information in recorded conversations and emails.

You directly provide Orgalim with most of the data we collect. We process the personal data of visitors to our websites. Data protection and privacy laws require us to have a legal basis for processing your personal data. Depending on the purpose for processing the legal basis can be: Consent: you give us permission to use your data, and you are always free to withdraw consent at any time. Legitimate interest: Orgalim can process personal data based on legitimate interest for example when you are asked to complete a survey about an Orgalim event you took part in.

We collect and process data when you subscribe to the Orgalim newsletter by entering your email. You have the right to opt-out of receiving the newsletter at any time by contacting us at secretariat@orgalim.eu or clicking the “unsubscribe” link in the newsletter emails received from Orgalim.

Sign-up for events using the sing-up form on the Orgalim website.

Contact us with any feedback, questions or complaints at secretariat@orgalim.eu, communications@orgalim.eu or though our social media accounts. This includes contacting us for media requests at alice.gillam@orgalim.eu. Minimal personal data, often limited to your name, organisation and email address together with information about the topic you inquire about.

Log into and using your member account by accessing the “Members Area”. Only applies to authorized stakeholders. 

Use the Orgalim website. Orgalim uses third-party service providers, such as WordPress for website hosting and content management, and Benchmark Email for email marketing and communications. These providers may collect and process certain personal data on Orgalim`s behalf, such as your name, email address, and interactions with our website or emails. This data is used solely for the purposes of website functionality, improving user experience, and sending relevant communications. 

Orgalim collects your data so that we can share the Orgalim newsletter monthly, process your participation to Orgalim events and gather your input through surveys, support your inquiries with information or manage feedback and complaints, process your profile and access to the “Members Area” and sent electronic communications (Only applies to authorized stakeholders) and improve website functionality and user experience. 

Orgalim stores personal data securely in a restricted-access contact database within our website, in our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, and in cloud storage solutions such as Microsoft SharePoint and OneDrive. Access to these systems is strictly limited to authorized personnel, ensuring that your data is protected against unauthorized access, modification, or misuse.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures, including access controls to safeguard your personal information. Our cloud storage providers comply with industry security standards and data protection regulations, including GDPR.

We do not retain your personal data for longer than necessary to achieve the purposes for which we collected it. We have taken appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure only people who are entitled to access your data have access to it. We will delete your personal data at an earlier time if you request.

Clicking on these links may result in third-party websites collecting or processing your data, and we do not have control over how they handle your personal information.
