Orgalim recommendations for the Net-Zero Industry Act

Orgalim welcomes the ambition of the Net Zero Industry Act and the political attention given to strengthening the EU’s industrial base as a precondition for reaching climate neutrality. However, as we argue in a new position paper, it is vital to recognise that the technologies necessary to reach net-zero go beyond those needed for clean energy.
To accelerate the transition to climate neutrality, we need a bold and comprehensive approach to ensure competitiveness for all technologies contributing to the net-zero objective.
To ensure the Net-Zero Industry Act achieves its aims, we have developed a set of recommendations:
