Orgalim President Rada Rodriguez’s tenure draws to an end
9 November 2023
As the Autumn Convention approaches, Orgalim prepares to bid a heartfelt farewell to its President, Rada Rodriguez. After four years at the helm, this will be Ms Rodriguez's last convention as President. She led Orgalim during a period of unprecedented upheaval, including the COVID-19 pandemic, the war in Ukraine and the resurgence of more protectionist and interventionist industrial policies both in Europe and in other major markets
Despite these challenges, Ms Rodriguez's tenure as President has been marked by significant achievements. She has helped to shape a new policy momentum for a competitive net-zero industry in Europe, with advanced manufacturing at its heart. Under her leadership, new EU laws impacting our industries were made more effective, and Orgalim grew its membership, including making the historic decision to introduce corporate membership. And in all of this, she helped maintain the organisation's human touch and strong sense of community.
Malte Lohan, Director General of Orgalim, reflects on her tenure: "Rada's forward-looking leadership during her four years as President has undeniably elevated Orgalim. She helped make Orgalim more mature, more influential and more resilient as an organisation. That is quite a legacy."
Ms Rodriguez's unwavering dedication to Orgalim has been instrumental in advancing the cause of Europe's technology industries. As she steps away from her position, we extend our deepest gratitude for her exceptional service and steady commitment to Orgalim's success.
