Orgalim General Assembly welcomes CEMEP and appoints two Board members

At its meeting on 2 June, the Orgalim General Assembly formally welcomed CEMEP, the European Committee of Manufacturers of Electrical Machines and Power Electronics, as new associate member. Representing an industry with a market value of €6.3 billion and 130,000 employees, CEMEP aims to promote and to support the common technical, industrial, economic, environmental and political interests of the European motors, VSD and UPS industries (products, systems and assemblies).
In addition, the General Assembly approved the Board membership of Steve Brambley, CEO of UK association Gambica, and Andrea Orlando, General Director of Italian association ANIMA. The Board of Directors, composed of national association CEOs, is elected by the General Assembly from representatives of full members of Orgalim and it is responsible for overseeing the management of the association.
