R&D&I: Response to the consultation 'Horizon Europe Co-design - Implementation'
Following provisional agreement from the European Parliament and Council on the Horizon Europe legislative package, the European Commission has begun work on the R&I framework programme's implementation strategy - a tool to focus attention, planning efforts and resources to the rules, processes, systems, documents and guidance, so that they are ready in time for the launch of the programme.
Orgalim has responded to the consultation on this implementation strategy, emphasising our key message that industrial collaborative research should be at the heart of the future Horizon Europe programme. Innovative products and systems developed by technology companies deliver long-term societal benefits, and these companies become stronger and more knowledgeable when engaging with partners all over Europe through EU R&I cooperation.
Moreover, we put forward a number of other recommendations regarding the excellence principle, support for innovation of all kinds and for companies of all sizes, and the value of public-private partnerships (PPPs).
