On 18 September 2021, Orgalim will join the World Cleanup Day, the largest worldwide cleanup event of the year with more than 180 countries participating!

Our goal? To clean up as much litter as possible in Brussels and to raise awareness about the global waste problem.

Litter is not only unpleasant to look at; eventually, it will pollute the environment and make its way to the oceans, endangering animals and harming the planet and our health. On this issue, we strongly believe that an effective waste policy is key for the development of the circular economy. Measures aimed at waste prevention and proper end-of-life management can help turn waste into a resource and encourage more sustainable consumption and production patterns.

In the words of our colleague Timothée Tierny, who is leading the #TeamOrgalim in this initiative: “The World Cleanup Day is a wakeup call that a circular economy can only exist if each of us plays our part”.
