As digitalisation and data continue to drive transformation across European industry, the roll-out of high-speed 5G networks will be essential to ensure the EU remains competitive in the age of the industrial Internet of Things (IIoT). 5G will offer great opportunities to boost competitiveness, but also raises questions around challenges such as cybersecurity.

Presented by the European Telecommunication Network Operators' Association ETNO in cooperation with Politico, the event 'Europe's 5G Future' on 3 September will take a closer look at how the EU can set the foundations for an IoT future. Orgalim Director General Malte Lohan will join Henri Korpi, Executive Vice President at Elisa, MEP Angelika Niebler and Pearse O’Donohue, Director for Future Networks at the European Commission's DG CNECT to discuss key priorities for Europe at this critical moment in the development and roll-out of 5G.
