An ecosystems approach to industrial resilience
Virtual event (via GoToWebinar)
10 July, 14.00 - 16.00
As Europe charts its path out of the crisis, the EU’s industrial strategy is being (re)designed to catalyse a speedy and sustainable recovery, to accelerate our industrial transformation, and to strengthen our resilience in a more unstable world. Some pivotal decisions for our industries, and for Europe as a whole, lie ahead.
At the heart of the new strategy is a focus on Europe’s industrial ecosystems. This novel approach holds considerable promise. Yet given its potentially transformative consequences, it also requires open dialogue and close collaboration between policymakers and industry.
Join senior representatives from the upcoming German Presidency, the European Parliament, the European Commission and industry for an interactive virtual debate on putting this ecosystems approach into practice. An opportunity to advance shared understanding, identify concerns and develop solutions.
Confirmed speakers include:
Keynote speaker: Dr Norbert Schultes, Head of the Economic Department at the Permanent Representation of Germany, "The German perspective on the European Recovery and Resilience"
Kamil Kiljanski, Chief Economist, European Commission's Directorate General for Internal Market and Industry
Rada Rodriguez, Orgalim President; Senior Vice President, Schneider Electric
More speakers to be confirmed
Chair and moderator: Malte Lohan, Director General, Orgalim
