It provides strategic guidance to Orgalim’s Board and serves as a space for peer‑to‑peer exchange and top‑level political engagement on shared European priorities.
The Council is chaired by Javier Ormazabal, Orgalim President and President and CEO of Velatia, and meets two to three times per year.
History of the Orgalim Council
Created in 2024, at the start of a new EU legislative cycle, the Orgalim Council responds to the need for structured, senior‑level dialogue between industry leadership and EU decisionmakers at a time of major economic, industrial and geopolitical change.
It builds on the legacy of the Executive Forum for Advanced Manufacturing (EFAM), a high‑level forum set up by Orgalim to place advanced manufacturing at the center of EU policy discussions.
