Orgalim’s lawyers and legal experts from our national member associations produce legal publications that provide technology companies with contractual solutions for business-to-business relations, including product supply, product installation, repair and maintenance, agency contracts, distributor abroad contracts and more. They are all drafted to reflect normal contractual practices in our industries. It is worth noting that Orgalim represents the interests of both buyers and sellers, licensors and licensees.

Our first legal publication was issued in the 1950s and since then thousands of companies in Europe and around the world have made use of these resources – a testament to their continued success. We offer around 30 titles, which are updated in line with new or revised legislation and evolving market needs.

  

OUR PUBLICATIONS

Our publications fall under three main categories:

 

General conditions

Our General Conditions are standard documents designed to reflect normal contractual practice in the technology industries, especially for the supply of goods and services such as installation, repair, maintenance, etc. They are designed to simplify negotiations and rationalise the handling of contracts and contractual relations.

Companies that would like to attach an electronic version of Orgalim’s General Conditions when sending tenders and contracts by email to their customers and suppliers must obtain a special licence agreement with Orgalim. These licensing agreements can be obtained through our licensing website. Members of national associations that are members of Orgalim can benefit from a 50% discount on the license price.

Model forms

Orgalim model forms provide practical assistance in drawing up contracts, which cannot be standardised to the same extent as general conditions. Taking into account applicable law, including competition rules, these forms can be customised by the parties involved in line with their requirements.

Guides

Orgalim guides provide information on a range of topics of importance for the technology industries – from explanations on the scope and application of EU regulations and directives, to guides on Orgalim legal publications such as the S 2012 supply conditions.
