Fighting for fairness: stepping up trade defence and coercion deterrence to shield Europe’s industrial base from unfair competition

Europe’s technology industries rely on open trade as a key source of growth and prosperity. At the same time, we face growing import pressure (primarily from China), fuelled by structural state-induced distortions, overcapacity and unfair subsidisation.

We therefore urgently call for a few measures to restore a level playing field for our industries.
