The Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR) will improve EU products’ circularity, energy performance and other environmental sustainability aspects. ESPR will also establish a digital product passport, provide the setting of mandatory green public procurement requirements and create a framework to prevent unsold consumer products from being destroyed. A provisional political agreement was reached in December 2023 and the final ESPR text is expected to be published before the summer.

Are you ready for all these upcoming changes?
